Made to measure shelving
Mestra made-to-measure shelving is configured around your wall, then made in Norfolk from birch plywood. It gives you a planned fit without turning every project into full bespoke joinery.
Definition
Made-to-measure at Mestra means the shelving is configured and made to order from your room measurements. You choose bay widths, rail height, number of bays and storage modules within the logic of the Mestra system.
It is not standard off-the-shelf furniture, and it is not fully bespoke joinery. That middle position is useful when you want a cleaner fit, live pricing and a system that can still change later.

Short answers on fit, installation and what Mestra is not trying to be.
Mestra is made to order from the measurements you provide, within the rail and bay logic of the system. Use the smallest reliable wall measurement if the space is uneven, and ask before ordering if the fit is uncertain.
Mestra can work well around simple alcoves, awkward wall spans, sockets and skirting, but it is not fully scribed joinery. Very uneven walls, sloped ceilings or detailed architectural integration may need bespoke joinery instead.
Yes. Mestra is modular, so shelves can be repositioned within the installed rail system and parts can be added where the wall, bay layout and fixing points allow.
The current shelving lead time is six weeks or less from order confirmation. Quote-only layouts may need an extra check before the order is confirmed.
The configurator shows a live price for instant-priced layouts before you order. Bay width, bay count, rail height, shelves and cabinet choices all affect the price.
Use the configurator to set the wall width, choose bay sizes, add shelves or cabinets, and review live pricing before you order.
